This is where our customers tell you, in their own words, what it was like to have their extension built by us. Our customers already leave their reviews on Google and Facebook, and we are bringing them onto this page, word for word and with their permission, with the customer’s first name, their town and the kind of work we did.
Our promise on reviews. Every review here comes from a real customer. We never write our own, never pay for them, and never leave out the ones we would rather not hear.
Had your kitchen extension built by us?
We would love to hear how it went, good or bad. Send us a message with a few lines about your extension and tell us that we can put it on this page. We will use your first name and town only, and we will check the wording with you before it goes up.
Choosing a builder you can trust
Reviews help, but they are not the only way to judge a builder. Whoever you choose for your kitchen extension, these are the things worth checking before you sign:
- A written, itemised quote that shows what is included, so you can compare like with like.
- Payments in stages that follow the work, set out in writing before you start.
- Who will be on site, who is in charge of the job, and who you call with a question.
- Who handles the approvals: planning or permitted development, building control, and party wall notices where they apply.
- Building control sign-off at the end, and an electrical certificate for the new wiring. You will need both when you sell.
- Insurance. Ask any builder to show you their public liability insurance before work starts. Ours covers up to £2 million.
- Registered trades. Electricians should be registered with a competent person scheme and gas work done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Ours are.
Our how we work page shows how we handle each of these, and our about page tells you who we are.
